About Joey and JP Web Studio - The Creative Behind The Redesign
Joey Pelletier, a recent graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Creative Technology and Design, and the founder of JP Web Studio, is a web designer and developer who leverages design to work with impactful organizations and people, helping drive their missions forward.
Vision
For the website redesign, Joey wanted to bring out the strong cultural energy representative of the largest Dragon Boat festival in the country. Utilizing energetic colors and a user-centric structure, he aimed to create a unified and accessible experience that helps communities engage with Colorado Dragon Boat's mission of connecting AANHPI communities with the general public through cultural education, leadership development, and athletic competition.
Purpose
As an Indonesian American and long-time member of ARCINDA, which has performed at the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival for over 10 years, Joey believes deeply in the strength of AANHPI communities and in the importance of advocating for them. He's committed to helping amplify those voices and drive meaningful change.
