2025 Dragon Boat Race Teams

Team Blue has been making waves as the world's first fully accessible dragonboat team since 2011, breaking barriers and championing inclusion every stroke of the way.

With veterans and civilians alike, we provide gear, instruction, and plenty of enthusiasm to power the Adaptive Adventures mission.

Our community of participants with physical disabilities, alongside dedicated volunteers, creates a team like none other. Join us as we paddle towards both inclusion and championships across America!

Agua Libre is made up of parents, students, and faculty from Denver Language School. We've been racing at CDBF for over 12 years strong and we don't intend on stopping anytime soon! Paddles up!

Agualettes is the kids team for Denver Language School. This is our first year at CDBF!

The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Colorado (APABA) is a bar association in Colorado dedicated to advancing Asian Pacific Americans as leaders in the law.

We provide banking and investment services to help clients achieve long-term financial success with a personal approach and local service.

We are a group of people who work at CHFA. Not of professionals by any means, but we love contributing and participating in community events. We hosted a booth last year and saw how much fun the races were.

Our company is Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. We help provide individuals with affordable housing whether it's singe family loans or assisting in the development of multi-family housing.

CoBank is one of the largest private providers of credit to the U.S. rural economy. The bank delivers loans, leases and other financial services to agribusiness, rural infrastructure and Farm Credit customers in all 50 states. CoBank's Asian Employee Resource Group will be participating in this event.

Formerly Air Force Flying Dragons that started in 2007 to a team that went private for the love of racing.

Originally founded in the early 2000s, CU Denver's Dragonboat team was unfortunately among the many organizations put on pause due to the pandemic. After a shortened season in 2023 to test out the waters (literally!) for interest in bringing the team back, CU Denver is returning in 2024 for its first full post-pandemic season!!

Led by two members from the original team, we're excited to return and continue the legacy :)

Denver Chinese School (DCS), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization was founded in 1998. DCS is committed to provide the most comprehensive Chinese language and cultural education to students from Pre-K through high schoolers and adults at Highlands Ranch and Lakewood Campuses.

Most of our teachers are native mandarin Chinese speakers and certified full-time Chinese teachers at various public or charter schools. DCS has successfully hosted the annual Colorado Chinese New Year Celebration since 2003.

Great Wall Chinese Academy is a non-profit PK-12 Chinese language school. We teach Chinese language and culture to students of all ages from all culture backgrounds.

We have youth race team and young stars performing team at dragon boat festival every year. The festival provides a great opportunity for our students to learn the dragon boating tradition, as well share Chinese cultures with local communities; students and families have built lifetime friendship and memories from the festival.

Established in 1879, History Colorado is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and an agency of the State of Colorado under the Department of Higher Education. We strive to be a place of belonging for all Coloradans and serve as a community connection platform. We’re committed to Colorado’s diverse communities and we know we’re succeeding when more voices, perspectives, and experiences are part of History Colorado. This is our first year racing at the festival!

Phantoms paddlers have been competing in the CDBF since 2003 & our paddlers were the first to bring dragon boats to Colorado on a permanent basis.

We train year-round, and regularly compete both here and in other venues. The crew is led by Michael Boyd, certified DBC Level II Coach, and member of the Team USA Senior C crew that swept the 2019 Dragon Boat World Championships in Thailand, winning 4 gold medals.
