Volunteer For The Festival
Have you ever wanted to travel to Asia and the Pacific to experience the cultures there, but just didn’t have the time? Do you enjoy working at community-oriented events that are exciting, entertaining and engaging? Do you have a knack for helping people and doing what’s needed at a moment’s notice? Then the 2008 Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is the place for you – and it’s closer than you think!
The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival (CDBF) needs more than 500 volunteers to produce its tow-day outdoor weekend event. It is because of the
dedication of volunteers that the Festival will be celebrating its 8th anniversary this year on July 26 and 27. The time and energy donated by volunteers since 2001 has allowed the event not only to continue but to succeed far beyond everyone’s expectations.
We need volunteer help again this year! Please review the Volunteer application for additional information and sign up for as many shifts as you can. We promise you will have a great time and will have plenty of free food, drink and T-shirts! Feel free to recruit family, friends and colleagues, and make it a weekend to remember. You’ll have a chance to enjoy one of Colorado’s most popular summer festivals.
