Band Stage
**NOTE: With all stages, performers must account for set up and break-down time.
(1 hour intervals: 45-50 minutes of performance time)
The band stage is located within the CDBF’s popular Beer Garden with crowds of all ages hanging out all day to enjoy great tunes, great beer, and great shaded views of the dragon boat races! Over the years, it’s become clear that there are a lot of talented Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders making music in the area – so many that starting in 2012, we decided to dedicate an entire stage throughout the weekend to just bands playing various styles.

Performing Arts Stage
**NOTE: With all stages, performers must account for set up and break-down time.
(30 minute intervals: 20-25 minutes of performance time)
The main performing arts stage is the premiere showcase for talent at CDBF! Since the first year, this stage has featured a mix of traditional and contemporary performances by Colorado’s Asian Pacific American community. The stage showcases our culture through music, dance, and has recently also incorporated cross-cultural collaborations, such as a combination of Japanese Taiko drums and Indian dance, or Tibetan flutes and African drums. If you have attended the festival in the past as a performance for Cultural Unity, this is the stage you will apply for in 2019.
