2012 Main Stage Application

and agree to the requirements. Application and audition materials (links to YouTube videos recommended) must be received by CDBF office by Friday April 15, 2011, 11:59 pm. A selection
committee will review all applications and notify applicants at the beginning of May.
The Main Performing Arts Stage is the premiere showcase for talent at CDBF. Since the first year, the Main Performing Arts Stage has featured a mix of traditional community performances and
contemporary performances by Asian Americans who play rock, jazz, folk, funk and blues. The stage showcases music as well as dance, and has also encouraged cross-cultural collaborations,
such as a combination of Japanese taiko drums and Indian dance, or Tibetan flutes and African drums.

Be aware that most TV interviews are live segments scheduled at the covenience of the news outlet, and it’s possible the interview will be shortened or cut completely due to late breaking

Interviews are meant to promote CDBF and no group banners, fliers, signage, etc, are allowed.
