CDBF’s Non-Profit Partners Program gives back to the community

AAJA's 2010 Pepsi booth for the Non-Profit Partner program

The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival’s Non-Profit Partner (NPP) program invites non-profit organizations representing a variety of missions and causes to earn money for their organization by supplying volunteers to work a designated booth selling festival items.

Non-Profit Partners apply and, depending on openings, are assigned by the CDBF Beverage Manager to one of the following four areas of festival sales operations: Beer, Pepsi, Snow Cones or Merchandise Management.

So when you purchase a drink at one of our Pepsi booths, or enjoy refreshments in the Beer Garden, you’re not just helping the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival ensure its future. You’re supporting one of these non-profit organizations’ work in our community.

With Colorado being amongst the most isolated states in the U.S in terms of women’s rugby, our league is spread out over one of the largest geographical regions, our membership is required to travel extensively for matches in order to continue to be a competitive team. All funds awarded to Black Ice Women’s Rugby Club from volunteering at the Dragon Boat Festival will go toward supporting the travel expenses, field costs, game costs, and team registration.
