Each year since the start, CDBF has named Honorary Chairs who represent a role model for the Asian community with their leadership and support.
We’re proud to introduce the 2014 Honorary Chairs: Paul Tauer served as Mayor of the city of Aurora, Colorado for 16 years and a City Councilman for 8 years before that. He was during his years in elected office, and is still today, a true friend of the area's diverse Asian community. He established The Aurora Asian/Pacific Community Partnership during his first term in office, the first of such groups in the State. Former First Lady of Aurora Kate Tauer was a founding member of the Partnership and is remains a very active member to this day.
