Over the years, CDBF’s Cultural Unity Stage has showcased not just the best local hip-hop artists including breakdance groups, musicians, rappers and DJs, but also added drummers, Polynesian dance troupes, and martial arts groups. This year, Cultural Unity is proud to add a new perspective, Parkour — the acrobatic athletic movement of running, jumping and climbing around obstacles. Apex Movement, shown here, was the first Parkour training program in the Western Hemisphere when it began teaching its moves in 2006.
